  Steve Kinser won the fifth Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway. Following were the Pennsylvania group of Bobby Allen, Keith Kauffman, Joey Allen, and Frankie Kerr. Among the heat race winners were Jeff Gordon and Brad Doty.
