RACE NOTES:
  During 1988, Avilla Speedway played host to the All Stars, SOD, the Indiana Sprint Week, and the first race of the short-lived Hurryin' Hoosiers series. Tony Elliott won the May 7 race with that group over Robbie Stanley. SOD victories went to Hank Lower, Joe Gaerte, Tray House and Randy Varney. Rocky Hodges had an All Star win and Rickey Hood won during the winged Sprint Week.
