RACE NOTES:
  Ohio's Millstream Speedway opened the 1989 racing season with Danny Smith taking the feature victory. He would also win a non-sanctioned race at the track on May 28 and was second to Johnny Herrera during a May 21 All Star race. Dave Blaney was second at the opener, followed by Mark Keegan, Jack Hewitt and Todd Kane.
