RACE NOTES:
  The USAC Sprint cars raced with wings a few times from 1987-1990. This is the first time the series ever raced with wings. Rich Vogler, Dave Blaney, Jack Hewitt and Warren Mockler won heat races. Blaney was leading late in the feature when he dropped out. Rick Unger won, with Mockler second, Ron Milton third, and Kelly Kinser taking fourth.
