RACE NOTES:
  The rules were opened for the 1987 Bryan Invitational, and Jack Hewitt took the win with a large aerodynamic foil on the right side of his car. He passed Billy Corbin, Jr. to take the win. Johnny Beaber was third, with Rick Ferkel fourth and Eric Slade fifth. Heat races went to Hewitt, Tony Elliott, and Jerry Nemire. Races are no longer held on the half mile.
